Don't be mum for Mum's Day!

Don't be mum for Mum's Day!

Mother's Day is May 8th - Is your store ready? Here are a few pointers on what you can do to prepare:

1. Be Funny

Moms can have a sense of humor, too! Create Mother's Day t-shirts and Mother's Day mugs to make her laugh, or get sentimental with touching designs that any mother would love. Each mom is unique, so create a variety of funny Mother's Day gifts, and you may find yourself with some extra earnings by the end of May.

2. Make Cards

Even if they purchase other gifts, most people will at least give Mom a card. Make funny Mother's Day cards to go along with your Mom t-shirts and mugs, or create photo template cards in which shoppers can add their own images. You never know which design will be Mom's favorite, so be sure to put forth your best efforts.

3. Go International

Mother's Day is celebrated on different days around the world, but 77 countries, including the US and Canada, celebrate on the second Sunday of May. With the exception of the UK, all of Zazzle's international domains honor Mom in the month of May, so be sure to create Mother's Day products for international customers as well. Translate "Happy Mother's Day" into other languages and your designs will appeal to shoppers around the globe. Although Mothering Sunday has already passed in the UK, you can always prepare for next year by repurposing your Mother's Day designs with a special message for Mum.

We're sure that you have plenty of your own ideas for making the most of Mother's Day, so post your designs soon, and you might see some sales to make Mom proud.

Get Inspired!

Based on recent user trends, here are a few design ideas for the coming week:

Seller Challenge
